With the presence of Liván Izquierdo Alonso, Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba in Ciego de Ávila, the political-cultural gala for the Day of the Art Instructor in this central province took place this Saturday in the central José Martí Park.

The dance music organizations Alma Campesina from Majagua and Telón Abierto from the Máximo Gómez Báez University were part of the cast, including the groups Blanco y Negro, Acordes de mi brigada and representaciones titiriteras by Maribel Rodríguez with the character of Maximiliano.

Liam Díaz Arias, Provincial President of the José Martí Brigade in Ciego de Ávila, explained that they also developed the Escaramujo contest at the grassroots level between the City Centre and Pedro Martínez Brito Popular Councils, as well as the Literature contest at the Ateneo Juan Antonio Marquez Bookstore.

The celebrations for the Day of Art Instructors in Ciego de Ávila concluded at the José Sirio Inda Hernández House of Culture with representatives of all the artistic manifestations of the movement of amateur artists of that cultural institution.
