Four health professionals from Ciego de Ávila obtained this week the degree of Doctor of Science, the highest scientific category.

Dr. Nilka Pita Alemán, Provincial Director of Health, offered the information and related the names and academic training of those who achieved the high distinction.

They are Dinora García Martin, Master in management of the educational process, graduate in health information management and Librarian at the Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola Provincial Hospital, in the capital of Ciego de Ávila.

Dunia Sotolongo Díaz, Master of Science in infectious diseases, first and second degree specialist in Dermatology, assistant professor and Assistant Researcher, also Head of the Provincial Dermatology Group, Provincial Coordinator of Heberferon and Head of the Cancer Group.

Also, Aymé Alberna Cardoso, first and second degree specialist in Cardiology, specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine, Master's Degree in Comprehensive Care for Women, Assistant Professor and Associate Researcher.

And Jorge Luis Carrera Martínez, first and second degree specialist in Angiology and Vascular Surgery, assistant professor and Associate Researcher.

The scientific improvement of the personnel of the Health sector in Ciego de Ávila is a constant to have a labor force of a high professional level.
