Díaz-Canel expressed his deep gratitude on Twitter for the solidarity load, received this Saturday at the Jose Martí International Airport in Havana.

This gesture is an expression of the friendship that unites the peoples and governments of Bolivia and Cuba, the first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba alleged.

The Cuban head of state responded to a tweet where the president of Bolivia had announced the donation, and highlighted the relations of solidarity and reciprocity between his country and Cuba.

Arce also denounced the effects of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against the Cuban people, and described it as criminal.

The intense rains of the first days of June in eastern Cuba caused the death of six people, in addition to serious material damage that included damage to 20,012 hectares of various crops.
