Reabre Artex en Ciego de Ávila Centro Cultural El Colibrí

With the medium-sized company Bormey SRL from Villa Clara, dedicated to the production and marketing of peanut derivatives, the El Colibrí Cultural Center, belonging to the Artex branch in Ciego de Ávila, reopened its doors this Saturday.

This cooperative project, in addition to diversifying the summer options for the family, incorporates a very Cuban tradition derived from peanuts, dried fruits and artisanal processed fruits.

Iván Andrés Paz Pérez De Corcho, General Manager of the Artex branch in Ciego de Ávila, argued that other new economic factors such as Percha Fiesta and Carne de tres are joining the Bormey SRL project, all in order to provide the population with goods, products and cultural services.

The Bormey SRL project offers in El Colibrí a variety of nougats, jams, snacks, pastries, creams and butters based on peanuts as the fundamental fruit of its totally artisan elaborations.

The Artex branch in Ciego de Ávila currently cooperates with 15 non-state forms of management to guarantee not only the stability, but also the sustainability of its cultural services to the population.
