Under the slogan "Ciego de Ávila Heartbeat with science for health", the Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola Provincial Teaching Hospital in Ciego de Ávila convenes the first HALI2023 convention from November 16 to 19.

With open registration at the national level, this will be a favorable space to exchange on the most current topics of the sector; the continuous improvement of the services and the accumulated experience with other professionals in the country, at the same time that the hospital accreditation processes are evaluated.

According to Alberto Moronta Enrique, deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power and General Director of the hospital, the event is sponsored by the Ministry of Public Health, the Provincial Health Directorate, the territory's University of Medical Sciences, the Council of Scientific Societies, the Territorial Delegation of CITMA and other political organizations of the province.

In the convention that will be held to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the Hospital, works will be presented with lines of research related to the Health of mothers and children, the Health of the elderly, Cancer, vascular disease and neurodegenerative diseases, Diabetes, infectious diseases, among others.
