The Directorate of the Electric Company informs that yesterday there were interruptions in the primary distribution lines of the Riego de Cubasoy and Orlando González circuits and the La Ofelia circuit, in Sanguily, Palma Mocha and nearby places due to damaged devices.
In addition, interruptions were reported in the secondary distribution lines (associated with transformers):
- From the Violeta circuit in La Valla, from the Patria circuit on Quinta Street and from the Chambas circuit in a ceramic workshop due to animal contact with the network.
- From the Unica circuit in the Minint self-consumption farm and the Turiguanó circuit in La Pesquera due to damaged devices.
For tomorrow, Friday, December 10, interruptions due to maintenance and pruning work are expected:
- From the Micro Norte circuit in buildings 5 and 6 of ALMEST from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.
- From the Morón Sur circuit on Patria street between Avenida Tarafa and La Palma, Los Clero, La Palma, Plan Hortícola, trade school, INDAF distribution and nearby places from 9:00 a.m. at 1:00 p.m.
On affectations due to deficit in generation capacity:
Yesterday there was a service disruption from 6:07 to 7:04 p.m. at night in the block programmed at that time.
As of today, up to the time of the preparation of this informative note, there have been no effects due to a deficit in generation capacity and it is not expected that they will occur in the morning and afternoon, if the expected conditions are maintained.
Several units of different thermoelectric plants are still out of service, due to breakdown and maintenance, and during peak hours, although availability is expected to be higher than demand, the reserve level is low, so that impacts could occur during that time.
