After the outbreak of Covid-19 at the Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola Provincial General Teaching Hospital in Ciego de Ávila, the biosecurity protocols are intensified in each room and service of that health facility.

Today, the strict compliance with the health protocols for the confrontation and control of the new coronavirus characterize this hospital, where the limited access of family members and companions is maintained.

Dr. Alberto Moronta Enrique, director of Antonio Luaces Iraola, added that a twelve-hour courier service was also implemented for the delivery of clothes and meals to admitted patients.

Besides, the new hospital normality implies NOT neglecting the biosecurity of this institution so that new outbreaks of Covid-19 do not affect the vitality of health services, nor the lives of Ciego de Ávila`s citizens.
