The session of the Provincial Government Council of Ciego de Ávila, corresponding to the month of December and the last of the current year, focused attention on the analysis of the level of solution on the proposals for accountability and dispatches processes, as well as those included in the Economy Plan.

It was also specified what is related to the execution of the budget at the end of November, with the main indications for the Economy Plan and the Budget for the coming year.

An assessment of compliance about the Housing Program was carried out at the end of the year, as well as the measures to ensure the successful development of activities in greeting to the 62nd anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

Tomás Alexis Martín Venegas, Ciego de Ávila's Governor, reiterated the need to continue addressing the concerns of the people, their worries, maintain effective dialogue and above all guarantee essential issues, which cannot be neglected, such as epidemiological surveillance and sanitary control, revolutionary guard and the production of food for the people. “Many of us will not take a break and it satisfies us. We are public servants and we preserve the work of the Revolution by fulfilling our duty”, he pointed out.

For the coming year, there are several commitments. The Ordering Task and the implementation of the Economic-Social Strategy become the cornerstone of the integral development of the nation. The highest representative of the Ciego de Ávila's government called for perfecting the control systems and looking after details.
