Expociencia proposes an approach to the main scientific novelties of the Morón's territory, an exhibition fair that arouses interest in Morón's society by presenting projects related to the protection of the environment, food production and the generation of energy from renewable sources.

Until January 30, the CITMA's Territorial Office in the municipality of Morón, located on Martí Street, will open its doors to the public to exhibit the proposals of the Community Social Project Yambambó, the Center for Research on Bio-food (CIBA by its Spanish initials), the Flora and Fauna Company, the Coastal Ecosystems Research Center (CIEC by its Spanish initials), the Municipal University Branch and the Directorate of Education in the territory, this last one represented by the Kindergarten Tierno Capullo and the Primary School Ignacio Agramonte.

The Local Development Project Gran Humedal del Norte de Ciego de Ávila, innovations of the Non-Agricultural Cooperative SERVTES (that is specialized in technical services), the results of an investigation on the caloric power relative to biogas, the rehabilitation program of the coastal dunes in the Jardines del Rey tourist destination, experiences on the production of pigs in closed cycle and studies regarding dangers, vulnerabilities and technological risks are among the most prominent proposals.

Expociencia demonstrates the potential of science, technology and innovation to promote economic and social development, with the rational use of natural resources and in close harmony with the environment.
