This reduction will also have its impact shortly on the retail network of Ciego de Ávila and other Cuban provinces, where the entity's productions arrive, an example of a socialist state company, praised by Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, in repeatedly.

Accounting graduate Miguel Ángel Pérez Leiva, economist at the Marketing Business Unit, explained to Granma that the percentage of the reduction is not a straight one in all products and said that, in some of them, it was even higher than the announced 35%, attending mainly to the decrease in the cost of fruits destined for the industry.

He referred that, with respect to the price proposed in the first stage of the Ordering Task, in some industrialized foods, such as the 19 types of pickles, the reduction was between 115 and 12 pesos, depending on the type of container and the processed food.

Likewise, marketing prices decreased between 105 and 12 pesos in 10 of the 12 varieties of marmalade; the value of garlic pulp in a plastic bucket was reduced by 146 pesos, grated coconut by 228 pesos, canned grapefruit shells of 3.2 kilograms by 138, guava bars of 400 grams by 10 and the one of 460 grams in five, just to name a few products.

Pérez Leiva clarified that the initial marketing prices of DCeballos in the first stage were supported by the high value acquired by agricultural productions, protected by Resolution No. 312-2020 of the Ministry of Finance.

Alba Elizabeth González Rodríguez, General Director of the Ciego de Ávila´s entity stated to Granma that the first month of this year the organization concluded with losses of about four million pesos, but they are progressing and at the end of February they accumulate profits in excess of that figure, with new ways of doing it, of calculating numbers with millimeter precision and the search for alternatives to obtain profits, the only way to a successful company.

The creation of productive chains that benefit the national economy, sales in the Mariel Special Development Zone, to the joint ventures Moa Nickel S.A and Minera del Caribe (EMICAR by its Spanish initials); the consolidation of the export portfolio and border marketing are other strengths of Agroindustrial Ceballos Company.

DCeballos, its commercial name, delivered products to Cuba Catering (it offers provisioning services for products for sale and service on board, as well as interior conditioning of the aircraft), and to La Estancia, a Cuban entity whose mission is to produce packaged food and beverages that are sold in the Chain of Stores.
