Garantizan continuidad de estudios universitarios en Morón

By facilitating access to study content, the Doctor Benito Llanes Recino University Center, in the municipality of Morón, guarantees the continuity of the 2020-2021 school year, in the distance mode, for Morón`s citizens who study at Villa Clara and Camagüey universities.

In line with the strategies adopted at the country level in the face of complexities in the epidemiological situation and as part of inter-institutional relations, this strategy is also applied with students from the Máximo Gómez Báez University, in Ciego de Ávila (UNICA), by allowing them free access to study guides, orientations, and proposed and solved exercises.

“The enrollment of first-year students from UCLV begins and continued with those from UNICA. After registration, an account is created for them to access the platforms created by the Ministry of Higher Education, where the contents of the different careers and subjects were positioned, in order to manage knowledge, prepare and solve exercises that will allow students to be evaluated at the end”, MSc. Belkys Ramírez Sánchez, director of the Doctor Benito Llanes university center, from the territory of Morón, emphasized.

Through the proper use of information and communication technologies, the center created WhatsApp groups that enable access to content and exchange between the different actors in the teaching-educational process.

The Morón`s House of Higher Studies has also contributed to the application of final and extraordinary exams to pupils studying at universities located outside the province.

Ramírez Sánchez highlighted that, despite the limitations imposed by the health crisis, the Municipal University Center of Morón managed to close the 2019-2021 school year and, in January, began the enrollment process for students in the careers of Accounting and Finance, Primary Education and Preschool Education, who will remain at a distance as long as the epidemiological situation does not change and they can attend the classrooms.
