“It will be an inclusive tourism, therefore, we foresee the elimination of barriers so that the elderly and disabled people can enjoy the benefits of the Park, also considering that this economic activity will constitute the fundamental source of income to develop conservation actions. We have the potential to reach an important segment in the national and international market ”, Cruz Antigua highlighted.

The manager of the Humedal Grande Park project specified that there was a delay in the execution of the works, as a result of the limitations imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. "Most of the time, we have used it in silvicultural work and waste collection, although progress is already being seen in the supply system, rustic buildings, restaurants, the identity tour, the barbecue, the equine area and the park for children, which are the places scheduled to open next July, when the first stage concludes".

In an extremely complex situation for the development of tourism at an international level, as a consequence of the health, economic and social crisis generated by COVID-19, the Humedal Grande Park will be presented as an opportunity to enhance the tourist industry, particularly modalities of specialized tourism, based on its potential to provide competitive and quality goods and services.

The economic-social development strategy of the country to face the global crisis bets on the capacity of tourism to readapt to the new scenario, which includes boosting the sales of services to the domestic market.
