There are 4 virtual stores operating in the territory: one of them for Acopio, another for Aqueduct and Sewer, the Unitienda and the Paris Bazaar. It is dealt with in 8 more stores, including the four Gastronomy establishments that are in progress, as well as a building materials store.

The experience of virtual stores, such as the one in the Paris Bazaar unit, confirms the usefulness of this system to acquire products, which, in addition to the existing shortage, provides the customer with the guarantee of obtaining necessary items at home.

The nationwide establishments in Ciego de Ávila are among the thirty that sell the most for this concept. However, the meeting referred to the need to continue deploying a timely and systematic communicative activity, which encourages the population to identify with this tool, to which resistance is still experienced.

Regarding Electronic Government, the 20 procedures that must be included in the interaction stage of this program were indicated. The organizations involved in this explained the current causes and conditions, and the strategies to implement in order to fulfill this purpose in the shortest possible time. The articulation of the different platforms such as Welfare, Popular Participation and Citizen Portal, was one of the issues that the participants in the meeting analyzed.

The establishment of the government implies the restructuring of public services in several phases and the country is engaged in carrying it out to improve the services and information offered to citizens, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of government and administrative management and substantially increase transparency of the public sector and citizen participation in public policies.
