This Sunday, the provinces of Cienfuegos and Ciego de Ávila were in charge of transmitting to the world the Cuban position, against the hostile, intensified and criminal imperialist blockade, with which they joined the claim made by thousands of people in numerous cities of the United States and in various parts of the planet.

Teenagers on skates, people of all ages on bicycles, electric motorbikes, motorcycles, pedicabs, cars ... as well as inhabitants from rural areas riding horses, taking the required hygienic-sanitary measures, gathered to attend the call made by the Union of Communist Young and reiterate from this site, once again, the popular sentiment of rejection.

It was ruled from beginning to end by the precaution that these times of easy pandemic contagion require, the caravan attracted thousands of people who, from the portal of their homes, greeted, waved flags and chanted slogans of support to Cuba, to the historical leadership of the Revolution and those who carry out the leadership of the country, with Miguel Díaz-Canel at the head of the nation.

Danny Miranda, a baseball player glory from Ciego de Ávila and, in general, Cuban, expressed his satisfaction "as a Cuban, for having joined this caravan that has been a success and that once again demonstrates the unity of our people."

International media, digital sites and social networks have disseminated information about the extensive activity that between Saturday and Sunday has generated the issue of the repudiation of the North American blockade, with the aim that the president of the United States repeal the sanctions that weigh on the Cuban family.

It is priceless the gratitude of the Cuban people to those who insist on overthrowing the walls that surround us and build bridges of love in solidarity. Projects, precisely like the one led by Professor Carlos Lazo, the Europe for Cuba channel, Unblock Cuba and other campaigns reiterated that activities will not end until the US aggression ceases and continue to demand the restoration of the family reunification program suspended by Trump in 2017, the unlimited sending of family remittances, the resumption of flights to airports in Cuban provinces, allowing Americans to travel without restrictions, and establishing scientific, economic and cultural collaboration ties between the two peoples.
