This Wednesday, June 29, the realization of a dynamic test will allow verifying the organization and operation of the Public Health System in order to begin the health intervention with the anti-Covid-19 Abdala vaccine in the municipality of Morón.

The exercise will evaluate the distribution cycle from polyclinics to vaccination centers, the quality of the cold chain, and the times and security in the transfer of the media for detecting and correcting possible violations, Ángel Batista Díaz, Provincial Director of Health in Ciego de Ávila, said.

This June 28, the certification of the premises authorized as vaccinations concluded (59 in Morón and 3 in the tourist destination Jardines del Rey), where all the logistical conditions are created to ensure the application of the three doses of Abdala, according to the established cycle (days 0,14 and 28), the manager stressed.

 Public Health, the Party, Government, Education and the political and mass organizations, worked in the conditioning of the sites destined for vaccination (family doctor's offices, polyclinics, schools and work centers), Dailyn Arias Tomé highlighted, Communication specialist of the Provincial Health Directorate.

The quality of the process is also supported by the participation of experienced doctors and nurses, as well as students from the Faculty of Medical Sciences, who received training on good practices to join this process.

 The municipality of Morón presents a difficult epidemiological situation for the province and the country, in addition to it concentrates the largest number of workers at the Jardines del Rey tourist destination, who require protection for working in high-risk conditions, criteria that were evaluated at the national level to decide the health intervention in that territory.
