Around fifty thousand people from the municipality of Morón, north of Ciego de Ávila, will receive the first dose of the Abdala Vaccine Candidate against Covid-19 as of this July 1st.

The massive health intervention for people aged nineteen and older is carried out in 62 vaccinations, which include tourism workers from the northern keys, the provincial director of Health, Dr. Ángel Batista Díaz, confirmed.

Morón is one of the municipalities in Cuba with the most complex Coronavirus situation, registering an incidence rate of more than one thousand per hundred thousand inhabitants, a figure that must be reversed with the health intervention of Abdala.
