The optimization of medicinal oxygen in hospitals and care centers for patients with acute respiratory infections is a strategic priority of the Temporary Work Group in Ciego de Ávila.

Dr. Mario César Muñoz Ferrer, representative of the Advisory Group of the Ministry of Public Health for the confrontation of the pandemic in Ciego de Ávila, confirmed it.

Muñoz Ferrer emphasized multisector integration based on the Industrial Gas Workshop, whose group has been working 24 hours since the start of the pandemic in Cuba.

The administration of medicinal oxygen also implies optimizing the means and resources used for its prompt distribution and the costs for its importation in Ciego de Ávila.
