Medidas que entran en vigor a partir del viernes primero

Measures approved by the Government in Ciego de Ávila that will take effect from Friday, October 1, given the favorable epidemiological situation in the province.

The municipalities Chambas, Florencia, Bolivia, Baraguá and Ciro Redondo are excepted, given the complex epidemiological situation that these territories maintain.

 Grocery stores will offer their services from 7:00 am to 11:00 am and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

 Ideal and industrial markets, as well as building materials stores, extend their hours from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

 Hairdressing, barber shop and beauty salons restart their services, as long as they are not air-conditioned.

 Bars, discos, cabarets and nightclubs are kept closed.

 The stores will work from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

 Sales by CDR are maintained

 The liquefied gas points of sale extend their hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm (customers on the outskirts of the city of Ciego de Ávila buy again at their corresponding points).

 119 gastronomy units (40% of the province) will open in person until 10:00 pm.

 In these places, 50% of the staff will be allowed and the tables will be two meters apart. Air-conditioned units are discarded.

Take-out, home delivery and online shopping services are maintained for those units that offer it.

The buffet table offer is not authorized.

All private restaurants (with the exception of the air-conditioned ones) can offer services until 10:00 pm.

The mobility restriction begins at 11:00 pm.

All work centers return to their normal hours.

The claim processes of the justice bodies are resumed.

All procedures suspended for the population are restored.

New registrations for Self-Employed Workers resume.

The law of caregiving mothers is maintained until the school year restarts.

The opening of childcare homes is authorized.

Open sales in common areas will start (example: Area behind 12 floors).

Gyms and children's recreation areas are kept closed.

Distance work and teleworking will continue to be strengthened.

The SERVI-CUPETs will only offer fuel service.

The photoservice units will open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Pools, rivers and beaches are kept closed.

The pedi-cabs and carriages resume their work.

Restrictions on urban, inter-municipal and inter-provincial transportation are maintained.

The ban on drinking alcoholic beverages and crowds in public areas continues.

It is important to know that the entire province remains in the Community Transmission Phase; therefore, it is essential to use the a facemask, disinfection of hands and feet, maintain physical distancing and take into account all hygienic-sanitary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
