This Monday, Ciego de Ávila`s group of Santa Massiel Rueda Moreno and its girls from Personal Motives participated in the virtual tribute to the Chilean singer Violeta Parra. Other Latin American singers joined the tribute such as troubadours from the Hermanos Saíz Association, including representatives from Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

In fact, almost a hundred singers, groups and poets gave life once more to songs by the female singer; by songs authored by the participants who are recognized in their work; and by songs of other major singers of the continent.

The virtual tribute to Violeta Parra evokes the 104th anniversary of her birth, one of the greatest singers in this hemisphere and author of that anthological theme that is Gracias a la vida.
