The integral functioning of the municipal assemblies in Ciego de Ávila corresponds to the feelings of the people, their needs and their problems for the sake of collective solutions. This Saturday, it was confirmed by Ana María Mari Machado, vice president of the National Assembly of People's Power in the conclusions of the parliamentary visit to the Government of Ciego de Ávila.
The recovery and confrontation of Covid-19 will continue to be a priority in times of a new normality, during which the process of accountability of the delegate to his constituents will also be resumed.The role of the delegate constitutes a cornerstone for the transformation of the environment and people for a better quality of life.
The parliamentary visit to Ciego de Ávila`s government focused its analysis on the work of four permanent commissions: the Agricultural-food, the Services, the Local Bodies and the Education, Culture, Science, Technology and Environment.
The socio-political climate seen in the communities was described as positive and encouraging. The exchange with the people, specifically in the Popular Councils that were visited, and the criteria of the delegates and social actors that converge and are articulated through integrated community work, this is evidenced.
“To assume with coherence and transparency the political processes that, framed in the 45th anniversary of the Organs of People's Power, will take place in the coming months, more than a challenge it also implies a commitment to the true sovereign, who is none other than the people themselves, But you have to prepare, be creative, appropriate those tools that facilitate dialogue with people”, Mari Machado said. Hence, the insistence on the political-ideological and communicational assurance required by all scheduled activities, with emphasis on the Third Process of Rendering the Account of the Delegate to his Electors of the 17th Mandate Period of the Municipal Assemblies of People's Power.
Ania Rosa Francisco Malde, deputy governor, stressed that Covid-19, together with the pain it has caused in the Cuban family, has once again put to the test the capacity for resistance and unity of which we are so proud. "Each criterion, point or suggestion, contributed by this visit, constitutes a line of work to improve the labor system in the province, and for this we have our delegates, deputies, assembly leaders, officials, specialists and especially with those who choose us and they trust us: the people”, she added.
For his part, Carlos Luis Garrido Pérez, first Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the PCC in Ciego de Ávila, ratified that in line with the ideas, concepts and guidelines, approved in the 8th Party Congress, there is also the work of the People's Power, which each day it must be strengthened and concluded: “We will continue to be involved in guaranteeing the social and economic well-being of the people. It is essential to inform and exchange with the population, to receive not only their complaints and proposals, but also their suggestions and initiatives, aimed at building a better country together, from and by ourselves”.
