Due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the country, the Ministry of Transportation and the Permanent Commission of Work to confront Covid-19, decided to reestablish interprovincial transportation as of November 1.

In this sense, the travelers unit in Ciego de Ávila informs the population that as of Wednesday, October 20, tickets will be sold to different destinations.

Kirenia Pérez García, director of this establishment in the province, reported that the reservation cycle is 30 days, and in the case of rail transportation, trains will run every 4 days.

Likewise, she informed that in the same way it will be sold online by the Viajando apk, where in addition to reservations, people can make the refund of tickets.

The directive added that there are some variations in the allocation of capacities to the province and in ticket price rates.

Pérez García said that people who still have reservations and do not wish to travel, their tickets will be reimbursed for the total cost, and if it is not the case, it will be sold on the date on which there is capacity.

The head of the Travelers unit in the province called for strict compliance with sanitary hygiene measures, the mandatory use of facemask and avoiding crowds.
