Diversifica sus producciones agroecológicas Finca Escuela Los Hondones

After one year of efficient use of indigenous mountain microorganisms, School-Farm Los Hondones in the northern municipality of Chambas diversifies its 100 percent agro-ecological productions.

The cultivation of rice in dry land is one of the experiments whose results contribute to food sovereignty from local development.

The beneficial indigenous mountain microorganisms are also applied in the cultivation of beans, tobacco, vegetables and fruit trees.

School-Farm Los Hondones in Chambas is part of the AGRECOCARIBE International Project that finances the French Embassy in Cuba in teaching and research centers.
