The Constitution of the Republic of Cuba endorses in its article 177 the responsibility of the Governor of the province to "report on his management to the National Assembly of People's Power, the Council of Ministers and the Provincial Council."

This is one of the novelties that is incorporated into the Magna Carta, which was approved in April 2019, which in turn is seen as an important process when ratifying that the State bodies carry out their activity on the basis of the principles of socialist democracy and the elected people have a duty to account for their actions on a regular basis.
In this regard, on November 30, Tomás Alexis Martín Venegas, Ciego de Ávila governor will fulfill social commission said before the Provincial Council that he presides. As the highest administrative executive head of the province, he directs and organizes the administration of the territory, so that on the indicated date he will report on the results achieved in his relationship with the people, the impulse given to the food program, to the attention to the communities and vulnerable families, local development, the production of construction materials, the housing program, among other priorities of its management.
Martin Venegas will also refer to the importance and significance of the use of social communication, innovation and the computerization of society, pillars and tools to promote development.
As part of a participatory, inclusive and innovative process, the information that it will provide is classified and that constitutes an obligation in its exercise of public servant, which corresponds to provide clear and concrete answers to the requests, proposals, complaints and requests of the population, such as expression of the guarantee of their rights.
In accordance with what is established in Law 138 "On the Organization and Functioning of the Provincial Government of People's Power", Vice Governor Ania Rosa Francisco Malde will render an account to the governor of her management, in the current month of November.
