    Fortalece Ciego de Ávila sistema de gobernanza en función de la innovación agropecuaria local

    Five practical contributions to the governance system is the main balance of the first graduates in Ciego de Ávila as postgraduate specialists in the Local Agricultural Innovation System (SIAL).

    The new specialty responds to a demand from the Ministry of Agriculture, while the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Mayabeque (INCA) academically leads the training process for local actors.

    The PhD in Agricultural Sciences from INCA Elein Terry Alfonso presided over the Defense Court and highlighted the scientific quality and potential impact of the presented theses.

    This Thursday, Lissete Barreda Jorge, from Morón,; Yesenia Cala Palacio, from Majagua; Kenia González González, from Venezuela; Yamaris Fis de la Rosa from Baraguá and from the municipality of Ciego de Ávila, Lissete Arzola de la Rosa graduated as postgrad specialists in the Local Agricultural Innovation System.

    This first graduation in the country pays special tribute to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz on the fifth anniversary of his physical disappearance.
