On Monday, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba Jorge Luis Perdomo Di-Lella visited the Ciego de Ávila Bioplant Center with the purpose of planning collaboration projects with BioCubaFarma.

Perdomo Di-Lella, accompanied by Eulogio Pimentel Velázquez, director of BioCubaFarma, and the highest political and government authorities of the territory, emphasized the potential of this alliance for the future of food sovereignty in the country.

The genetic improvement of high-quality seeds and the molecular and immunological diagnosis of plants stand out among the intentions planned to be carried out as of next year.
