No one denies the meaning of the moment, dreamed and expected, but the oath of loyalty, the placement of the rings and the kiss that sealed the official act, are mere formalities when considering the promises made from a love professed for six years, supported by the trust and respect.
At the end of the ritual, they shed their traditional garments and, sitting on two stools, in the courtyard of the house, they agree to reveal their story, that of love that is discovered in their eyes and makes their smiles copious.
Although before they exchanged glances, the University of Medical Sciences was the opportunity to strengthen the attraction, to the point that José Raúl decided to make her fall in love: one day he sent her a piece of paper to invite her to eat pizzas and she accepted, it was the opportunity to get to know each other better and anteroom of the courtship.

Convinced of how much it unites them, they have planned the marriage since she was in her third year of medicine, however, for various reasons they postponed it. Medicine does not separate them from their vocation for agricultural work, therefore, whenever the demanding profession allows them, they participate in the sowing, treatment and harvesting of crops. Working in the fields ennobles them, reaffirms humility and demonstrates their ability to develop in different environments.
She highlights that there, in Los Perros community, another secluded place in the geography of Chambas, José Raúl planted rice and even milked cows, in order to point out that his attitude responds to training, identity and culture.
The distinctive values ​​of the Cuban peasantry were the drivers in his decision to join the confrontation with COVID-19. He has been incorporated since March 2019, as a specialist in Comprehensive General Medicine, in the red zone of various isolation centers in the province of Ciego de Ávila.
At first, there was a lot of fear, due to the ignorance of the disease and the risk of contagion; many people offered resistance to work in health care institutions, therefore, his colleagues and he were also cooks, pantrists, cleaning assistants ..., in the midst of that turbulence.

Thus, inspired by each other, they contributed to the struggle in a marriage that they plan to also formalize before the church, as practitioners of Catholicism, to move from the flowering stage to the fruition of love in numerous children.
