Analizan delegados del Poder Popular en Majagua economía del territorio

The need to create new sources of income in the face of the budget deficit that predicts 2022 was among the most debated issues by the delegates of the People's Power Assembly in the municipality of Majagua.

During the ordinary session number 26 of the current mandate, the plenary pronounced itself for the increase in the implementation of local development projects and for the revival of entities that registered losses during the past year, among them the UEB Agroforest Corporation, the Construction 7, Integral Agricultural Enterprise and the Commerce and Gastronomy Company.

Mariela González Hayes, mayor of the territory, in her speech specified that reflections are drawn from the bitter experiences and bad moments to frame the work and be able to have positive results and thus make an adequate use of the budget, to which she added that we have to increase income and we have to produce.

In this regard, he reported that Majagua has one Mipyme and another validated one, as well as three local development projects and that two more are being evaluated to enter the execution process, that if what is really needed is prioritized and the budget is executed as established the law the territory can achieve superior results.

At the meeting, which was attended by Misleydi Abad Modey, first secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, the action plan in favor of vulnerable communities and neighborhoods was approved, tasks that at this time through the demanded support of the neighbors, materialize in Orlando González and Limones Palmero.

Other topics addressed were care for the elderly, the aqueduct and sewerage activity, where the situation of La Teresita community prevailed and the results of the third accountability process of the Delegate to their constituents were self-critically assessed.
