Aliuska Mesa Rodríguez, Territorial Director at the Ministry of Finance and Prices, called for de-technifying the State Budget and turning it into a process of real participation, in which the delegates of each constituency, along with their voters, feel essential actors. Her participation as a guest in the sessions of the municipal assemblies of the People's Power of the province of Ciego de Ávila, led the attendees to these work sessions to enrich their appreciation in relation to such an important issue.

The representative of the ministry, urged to change the form of discussion of the Budget administrators with the representatives of the people. “I still appreciate substantive assessments, directed or focused on issues, also important, such as the maintenance and repair of homes, the roads or markets that are needed, but we are in conditions and it is also essential that we can refer to income and the way of doing expenses efficiently and effectively,” he asserted.

The fact of rethinking the municipality that is wanted and the actions to be carried out to achieve it, was an element that invited reflection. “We must promote business efficiency and that this be reversed for the benefit of our workers and this is possible, if each delegate is clear about the economic actors in their demarcation, and how they can contribute to the development of the community”

Popular control cannot be absent. Knowing what is intended and how it is executed or the causes of its non-execution must also be in accordance with the citizen's conscience of maintaining and caring for what is done; contribute to transform the environment with creativity, intelligence and above all with unity.

In the municipality of Ciego de Ávila, specifically, Mesa Rodríguez pointed out as a priority the great responsibility that this territory has in reducing the budget deficit. In the will, perseverance and work of all, there is the possibility of reversing it, said Ramón Borges, president of the body in the provincial capital.

For his part, Carlos Luis Garrido Pérez, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the PCC, member of the Central Committee and deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power, called on Morón citizens to promote local development, with projects that transcend the territory in search of new income and contributions, using science and innovation to do so.

In each municipality, in this first session of their assemblies, corresponding to 2022, the work objectives, the activities to be carried out in the year, the action plan for the care of vulnerable communities and neighborhoods, as well as the a correct assessment of the results of the III Accountability Process of the Delegate to his Electors.

Once again in the spotlight, the epidemiological situation and the confrontation with Covid-19, which cannot invalidate the projections and executions that are already underway and whose purpose is the recovery of the economy in the country, and with it the guarantee of providing the people with the well-being that it requires and deserves.
