    Agrecocaribe ponders good pedagogical practices in vocational training

     Pondera Agrecocaribe las buenas prácticas pedagógicas en la formación profesional

    The pedagogical practices in the professional technical training of agricultural careers focused the attention of this Friday during the Final Workshop of the FSPI Agrecocaribe Project, which takes place at the Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo Incentives and Events in the tourist pole King's gardens.

    The exchange between Cuban pedagogues with their counterparts from France, Senegal and Guyana pondered the educational needs that define agro-ecological sustainability, including the promotion of good practices from scientific research.

    Dr. Paula Fernandes, from the International Center for Agricultural Research for Development in France (CIRAD), stressed the importance of research skills in students to systematize the achievements of Agrecocaribe from the Academy.

    This Friday, the communication strategy of the Franco-Cuban FSPI Agrecocaribe Project was reported, with emphasis on its Media Agenda based on gender equality for the empowerment of rural women.

    Specific examples of this work were the journalistic works on the Los Hondones de Chambas Farm School in Ciego de Ávila in the Cuban Radio and Television Information System, as well as the podcasts of the Indio Hatuey Communication Group on social networks.

    Matanzas also highlighted the pedagogical experience of La Luz Agro-ecological Backyard, where the use of beneficial native microorganisms favors the diversification of its productions.
