For a more democratic vote of the nominees for Cubadisco 2022, its Organizing Committee exchanges with musicians and specialists from all the provinces of the country.

René Baños Pascual, President of the Cubadisco Award, met this Monday with creators, musicians and specialists from Musicávila at the House of the Young Creator of the Hermanos Saíz Association.

The young musician Miraima García Laserra will lead the Musicology Evaluation Group in Ciego de Ávila in various categories such as Jazz, Trova, Chamber and Popular Music, among others.

The director of Vakuba, Felipe Rodríguez Alemán, congratulated the idea and argued that, for the first time, in the history of the Cuban disco festival, there are creators and specialists from the provinces.

For the coming month of April, the Cubadisco 2022 International Music Fair must nominate ten finalist works among more than 180 audio titles and 240 audiovisual titles.
