The report presented by Garrido highlighted that the pig industry is the most affected, as local alternatives for obtaining animal feed are insufficient, forcing decision makers to maintain a reduced number of breeders. In turn, he recognized the recovery of 18 ships in the Integral Porcine and growth in the multiplying center of dark-coated pigs.

“The commercialization of agricultural items, based on the application of the 63 measures approved by the Council of Ministers, has generated a positive effect on the diversity and quality of the offers, and on the sales and organization techniques, fundamentally in the leased markets, not yet reaching the projected 50 percent.

However, he noted that there is not enough progress in the direct link between the cadres and the base, this being one of the reasons why the effective incorporation of the workers, peasants and the rest of the population into the battle is not consolidated. for economic recovery and revolutionary vigilance.”

The partisan organization, like the government and all institutions, must improve their communication work. You have to give the information quickly.

The economic battle, with an emphasis on food production; attention to young people; local development; the preparation of the cadres and meeting the needs of the people are part of the issues that are brought up for analysis at the meeting.

Orelvis Hernández Mendoza, teacher of soul and profession, passionately defended the rescue of history and the formation of young people. He lives in the Lázaro López community, in Majagua, where the Invading Army was founded in 1895.

For his part, the delegate Alberto Fernández Pena was direct in his message: artists and intellectuals, faced with adversity, must look for alternatives with a collective thought open to creativity. In the face of insecurity in the world, peace must be preserved.

The young Roberto Castillo, from the Teatro Primero Company, through profound and reflective poetry, called for the country to continue pushing from all areas, because "there is much to be done."

In his speech, Morales Ojeda insisted that in the Party, the best militants have to be at the head of the nuclei, and growth within their ranks is not a goal, it is the need to guarantee their continuity. He added that the PCC, with its speech, must generate emotions in favor of the Revolution, to create a true revolutionary conscience.

«The partisan organization, like the government and all institutions, must improve their communication work. Information must be given quickly”, he emphasized and recognized that attention to young people is a high priority objective for the work of the Party.

“We cannot stay with empty slogans. The Revolution and its values must be defended, at the price of any sacrifice”, added the Secretary of Organization who, in turn, stressed that in this difficult scenario, the economic and ideological battles are decisive to continue doing not only for Ciego de Ávila but for Cuba.

In his words, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party insisted that arguments and ways must be found to overcome all obstacles, in the face of the imperial onslaught in the economic, ideological, media and subversive spheres, which they intend to bill the Revolution.

He reviewed aspects that define the economic, political and social life of the country. He stopped at the aggressiveness of the destabilizing campaigns of the enemies of the Revolution, who put all their ferocity into the most sensitive issues for the Cuban population.

The complicated international situation and the invariable position of Cuba in defense of world peace, is also at the center of the reflections of the President of the Republic.

The President emphasized the feat of our scientists and Health personnel in the fight against COVID-19. "That's creative resistance," he reiterated, with the emotion that overflows when he talks about that subject.

Regarding the work of the Party, and said that the first thing that the organization must do is to ensure adequately and politically all the processes. “You have to work permanently on the base.”

Bring together, unite, be in all places, add and grow in our nuclei with the most exemplary, train and educate the youngest... these are key concepts that the President addressed in his thoughtful speech.

How to do politics from culture, essences and traditions, from ethics, participation and solidarity, an essential issue for the Party in the conditions of Cuba, were among his reflections.

We must ask ourselves: what is the effectiveness of our internal processes, what do we do to improve mass organizations, what quality do the agreements we make to solve problems have? Questions that we must answer to strengthen the work of the PCC, said the President.

He also insisted on the leadership of the socialist state company. “Here the priority is production. Why is inefficiency prevalent in some of these companies?

We communists cannot let there be a lost day, concluded the First Secretary of the Central Committee, evoking the historic phrase of Máximo Gómez, pronounced in this territory, on November 30, 1895. That emblematic idea presides over this assembly.

Liván Izquierdo Alonso was elected as First Secretary of the Party in Ciego de Ávila, who fulfilled a similar task in Matanzas.
