A recognition of relevance constitutes the decision of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to award its "Medal for Inventors" to the authors of four Cuban anticovid-19 vaccines.

She explained that the stimulation is due to their contributions to national economic and technological development and that Daren Tang (Singapore), Director General of WIPO, a UN agency based in Geneva, Switzerland, will deliver them shortly.

She announced that Tang would travel to Havana at the head of a delegation from his group to present the medals next Monday to the main creators of Cuban anticovid-19 vaccines.

Then, the inventions and their groups of Soberana 01, the Finlay Institute of Vaccines and the Center for Molecular Immunology will be awarded; as well as those of Soberana 02, the Finlay Institute of Vaccines, the Center for Molecular Immunology and the University of Havana.
