The twelfth anniversary of the peasant quintet Cuerdas y Voces del Llano was celebrated this weekend with a unique party at the Barquito Cafe of the House of the Young Creator of Ciego de Ávila.

The initiative came from the Project of the Hermanos Saíz Association in Ciego de Ávila, Décima Cuerda, which ponders the Cuban music and improvisation in its widest diversity of musical expressions.

For this, they reserved as a special guest Gualberto Domínguez Pérez, who is also the director of the popular peasant quintet that animates the "María, la matancera" rock in the De Prisa park, just as Los Elevados climbs.

Marcelino Nodal, an outstanding improviser, as well as students from the specialized Music and Children's Improvisation workshops of L Casa de la Décima Raúl Rondón in Ciego de Ávila, joined the Cuerdas y Voces del Llano entertainment.

For the second time, the Tenth String project of the Hermanos Saíz Association in Ciego de Ávila is presented to the public as a special delivery of the House of the Young Creator for Las Noches Avileñas.
