With the training of undergraduate professionals in 35 careers, in various study modalities, including daytime courses, meetings, distance courses and short-cycle programs, the 2022 course in Higher Education begins on April 18 in Ciego de Ávila.

Nereida Pérez Sánchez, vice-rector of the Máximo Gómez Báez University in the province, explained that the student residence has good conditions and has sufficient capacity for the young people of the municipalities, as well as those of the territory and Morón who need it, always maintaining the measures guided by the Ministry of Public Health to prevent the contagion and spread of Covid-19.

The leader assured that she foresees the process of defending the completion of studies for the months of October to December, which can be diploma work, state exam or exercise of the profession, in such a way that in the month of January they are contributing to the economy of the territory.

Maintaining the presence of the students of the day course from Monday to Friday, as long as the epidemiological and energy conditions allow it with a combination of the face-to-face, blended and distance learning modalities, are among the main challenges.

The 2022 course that begins on April 18 in Higher Education in Ciego de Ávila and will close on February 3, 2023, has the priority of training comprehensive, competent professionals, with an innovative spirit, ideological political firmness and committed to the Revolution, so they can contribute to the sustainable development of the province.
