With the delivery of the national distinguished recognition to the workers of Musicávila, this group is the only one of the Culture Union in Ciego de Ávila that has so far held such a high distinction in the socialist emulation of 2021.

This was revealed this Monday in a cultural political event, held in the Backyard of the House of the Young Creator of the Hermanos Saíz Association in Ciego de Ávila, where the troubadour Ismael González Román, the Squerzo duo, the flutist Amanda Hernández and the group Son family.

All headed by Liván Izquierdo Alonso, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and its First Secretary in Ciego de Ávila, Governor Tomás Alexis Martin Venegas also attended, as well as directors and union cadres from other cultural institutions.

The popular singer Arnaldo Rodríguez Romero, also participated as a member of the Secretariat and the Committee of the National Union of Cultural Workers, as did his counterpart Ernesto Jaén Díaz, who officially presented the distinction to the Musicávila collective as part of the celebrations of the CTC for the May 1st.
