Now, those attending the José Ramón Cepero stadium in Ciego de Ávila can enjoy classic products or Artex stars related to Ciego de Ávila baseball; initiative completed in less than a week, which supports the communication campaign #LatirAvileño.

“At the moment, in the new point of sale there is a presence of articles from the Art at home collection, souvenirs, stationery and pullovers, but it is important to recognize that we must grow in merchandising.

"What will differentiate it from the existing stores is that the sale of sports souvenirs for the public will be prioritized," Lisandra Morales Cruz, Image and Development Manager of the Ciego de Ávila`s branch, said.

The fans of the territory suffer from shirts, pullovers, balls, gloves and merchandise with the distinctive seal of the Tigers. To cover this need, Artex will source from local productions and from other properties.

Morales Cruz also highlighted that, only on the first day of sales, around four thousand pesos were collected. Discreet figure, but important, if one takes into account that the citizens were unaware of the inauguration.

In this way, Artex in Ciego de Ávila responds to the call of Liván Izquierdo Alonso, member of the Central Committee of the Communist  Party of Cuba and First Secretary of the body in the province, and joins the territories of Matanzas and Mayabeque, pioneers in the commercialization of sporting goods.
