From the policy of promoting the professional work of the Party to cadres of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) with adequate trajectory and results, as well as in correspondence with the planned renewal process, it was submitted to the consideration of the National Committee —by the consultation method—a new cadre movement in the youth political vanguard.

In this regard, it was decided to release from her responsibility as a member of the National Bureau and president of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM), comrade Rosa María Ramírez Montero, who was recognized for her work results after almost ten years, as a youth leader and more than three at the head of the OPJM, achieving stability in the care work for our children and adolescents.

In her place, it was agreed to promote Lianet Pazo Cedeño, from the province of Ciego de Ávila, who has spent almost 12 years through the work of the UJC from full functionary to first secretary of the Provincial Committee of the UJC in that territory, a position which he held at the time of his election. The young woman has a degree in Primary Education, is 34 years old and completed a diploma in Political Management of Society at the Ñico López Superior School of the Communist Party of Cuba.
