In the peak hours yesterday from 5:30 p.m., the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity, influenced by the departure in the morning of unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre, the most affected at this time it was 45 MW at 6:00 p.m. Service was restored at 7:11 p.m.

    La Unión Eeléctrica informa

The availability of the SEN at 07:00 hours is 1,998 MW and the demand is 1,810 MW with everything served.

Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, unit 2 of the CTE Ernesto Guevara, unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre and unit 4 of the CTE Antonio Maceo are out of service due to breakdowns. Unit 5 of the CTE Máximo Gómez (in the start-up process), unit of the CTE Otto Parellada, unit 2 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez and unit 6 of the CTE Antonio Maceo are under maintenance. The limitations in thermal generation (467 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,080 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 463 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of unit 2 of CTE Ernesto Guevara with 75 MW, the entry of unit 5 of CTE Máximo Gómez with 70 MW and the use of 336 MW in diesel engines is forecast.

An availability of 2,572 MW and a maximum demand of 2,380 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a reserve of 192 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, no affectations to the electrical service due to capacity deficit are forecast on the day.

All consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.
