The Electric Power Company foresees for the peak hours of this Wednesday, the use of 168 MW in diesel engines. With this forecast, an availability of 2,427 MW and a maximum demand of 2,900 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a deficit of 473 MW, for which service affectations are forecast throughout the day and night today.

All consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.

Yesterday there was affectation to the service throughout the day. The maximum impact was 653 MW at 9:00 p.m. This situation has continued throughout the early hours of today.

Units 6 and 7 of CTE Máximo Gómez and units 4 and 5 of CTE Diez de Octubre are out of service due to breakdowns.

The Otto Parellada CTE unit, Lidio Ramón Pérez CTE units 1 and 2, and Antonio Maceo CTE unit 6 are under maintenance. The limitations in thermal generation (422 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,134 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 539 MW are undergoing maintenance.
