The young creators of the Hermanos Saíz Association in Ciego de Ávila are finalizing details regarding their participation in the Piña Colada Fusion Music Festival 2022, scheduled to be held from July 7 to 10.

Arnaldo Rodríguez, the main promoter of this initiative, ratified the Casa del Joven Creador de Ciego de Ávila as the theoretical space for the popular fusion music festival, postponed last April due to Covid-19.

In addition to the theoretical symposium, the Hermanos Saíz Association in Ciego de Ávila will host concerts by young creators such as the pianist Ernesto Oliva, the duo Iris, Gape and Motivos Personales, among other guests.

Regarding the meeting with the young creators, Arnaldo Rodríguez published on his official Facebook account:

“And the afternoon was also used to outline the upcoming edition of the Piña Colada Festival. 😛😛🎶

With the young and energetic troop of the AHS Ciego de Ávila commanded by Santa Massiel Rueda, they talked about concepts, promotion, interaction and participation of the young avant-garde in the event.”

"Ideas and actions were also projected for the "Music and Youth" Symposium, along with a group of activities that will "shake up" the Ciego de Ávila province at the beginning of summer 2022."

The Piña Colada Festival was scheduled to take place in the province, from April 1 to 4 of this year, but was postponed to March 25, taking into account the existing epidemiological situation in the province during that period, with a high level of positivity to Covid-19.

According to the information note published on the official Facebook page of the event site, the decision was made to avoid further complexities that could affect the health of the population.
