    This Saturday, the Electric Power Company reported that for peak hours an availability of 2,482 MW and a maximum demand of 2,850 MW are estimated, for a deficit of 368 MW, for which affectations to the service are forecast at this time.

    The company specified that this Friday, the service was affected throughout the day. The maximum affectation during peak hours was 536 MW at 9:40 p.m.; and at 04:25 am today, the electrical service was restored in the SEN.

    The service began to be affected again at 06:32 hours and must be maintained throughout the day and night today, the UNE added in its information.

    Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Máximo Gómez and unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre are out of service due to breakdowns. Likewise, the CTE unit Otto Parellada, units 1 and 2 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez and unit 6 of the CTE Antonio Maceo are undergoing maintenance.

    The limitations in thermal generation (547 MW) are maintained, and in distributed generation, 1,078 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 408 MW are undergoing maintenance.

    For peak hours, the entry of unit 6 of CTE Antonio Maceo with 60 MW, the completion of unit 5 in CTE Diez de Octubre with 30 MW, and the use of 152 MW in diesel engines is forecast.

    The UNE reiterated that all consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.
