The Electric Union predicts that as of 08:00 hours today, Monday, June 20, the service will begin to be affected due to a deficit in generation capacity, with a maximum of 350 MW at noon.

In the press release, the UNE specifies that yesterday, Sunday, the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity from 06:38 hours throughout the day. The maximum affectation in peak hours was 205 MW at 10:00 p.m.

Reports that at 01:43 am today the electrical service was restored in the SEN.

Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre and unit 5 of the CTE Antonio Maceo are out of service due to breakdowns.

The Otto Parellada CTE unit, Lidio Ramón Pérez CTE units 1 and 2, and Antonio Maceo CTE unit 6 are under maintenance.

The limitations in thermal generation (467 MW) are maintained.

The company details that in distributed generation 1,080 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 414 MW are in maintenance.

The UNE announces that for peak hours the entry of unit 1 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez with 200 MW and the use of 294 MW in diesel engines is forecast.

With this forecast, he says, an availability of 2,556 MW and a maximum demand of 2,750 MW are estimated for the peak hour, for a deficit of 194 MW, "so that affectations to the service are forecast at this time."

The company ensures that all consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.
