Yesterday, the service was affected due to capacity deficit starting at 05:38. The maximum affectation in the peak hours was 660 MW at 9:40 p.m.; the same was maintained throughout the early hours of today.

For the time of day, an affectation of 750 MW is estimated.

Units 6, 7 and 8 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, the CTE unit Otto Parellada, unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre, unit 1 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez and the units 5 and 6 of the CTE Antonio Maceo.

Unit 5 of the CTE Diez de Octubre and unit 2 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez are under maintenance. The limitations in thermal generation (406 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,049 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 429 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of the San Jose peak plant with 15 MW, the entry of unit 5 of the CTE Antonio Maceo with 90 MW is forecast, the entrance of unit 1 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Perez with 250 MW, the entrance of the CHE Robustiano León units with 28 MW, the entrance of the Ciro Redondo Bioelectric Plant with 20 MW, the entrance of unit 5 of the CTE Diez de Octubre with 100 MW and the use of 127 MW in diesel engines.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,670 MW and a maximum demand of 2,800 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a deficit of 130 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 200 MW is forecast at the peak, It is estimated that the service will be restored at 02:30 am tomorrow.
