    La Unión Eléctrica informa

This Thursday night, the maximum impact was 134 MW at 11:30 p.m. In the peak hour, it was 87 MW (22:40 hours). The service was restored at 00:25 am today.

It is estimated that as of 08:00 this Friday, the service will begin to be affected due to a deficit in generation capacity with a maximum of 200 MW.

Units 6, 7 and 8 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, the CTE unit Otto Parellada and unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre are out of service due to breakdowns.

Unit 1 of the CTE Ernesto Guevara and unit 2 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez are under maintenance. The limitations in thermal generation (581 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,059 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 454 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the entry of unit 1 of the CTE Ernesto Guevara with 75 MW, the entry of unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre with 70 MW, the completion of the CTE Antonio Guiteras unit with 100 MW and the use of 139 MW in diesel engines.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,718 MW and a maximum demand of 2,650 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a reserve of 68 MW, therefore, due to low reserve levels, there is a risk of affecting the service in this schedule.

All consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.
