Yesterday, starting at 08:03 a.m., the service began to be affected due to a lack of capacity. The maximum affectation at night was 172 MW at 8:00 p.m., in the peak hour it was 135 MW (8:40 p.m.). The service was restored at 23:15 last night.

The availability of the SEN at 06:00 hours is 2,278 MW and the demand is 2,140 MW, with the entire system in service. Starting at 08:00 hours, the service will begin to be affected throughout the day today, with a maximum of 250 MW during daytime hours.

Units 6, 7 and 8 of the CTE Máximo Gómez, the CTE unit Otto Parellada, unit 4 of the CTE Diez de Octubre, unit 2 of the CTE Lidio Ramón Pérez and the unit 3 of the CTE Antonio Maceo. Unit 5 of the CTE Máximo Gómez is under maintenance. At Energas Varadero, the 20 MW steam turbine is out of service. The limitations in thermal generation (442 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,110 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 410 MW are undergoing maintenance.40 distributed generation plants with 216 MW are out of service due to fuel. There are 28 plants with low coverage (155 MW).

For peak hours, the entry of unit 5 of the CTE Máximo Gómez with 60 MW, the entry of engine 1 of the CDE Mariel with 16 MW, the recovery of 150 MW that are out of service due to fuel in the distributed generation and the use of 197 MW in diesel engines that reached their maintenance hours and their operation has been authorized for 10 hours.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,701 MW and a maximum demand of 2,750 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a deficit of 49 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 119 MW is forecast at the peak, it is estimated that the service will be restored at 11:00 p.m. tonight.
