    La Unión Eléctrica informa

Yesterday, starting at 08:13 a.m., the service began to be affected due to a lack of capacity. The maximum effect at night was 311 MW at 9:00 p.m., coinciding with peak hours. The service was restored at 23:11 last night.

The availability of the SEN at 06:00 hours is 2,295 MW and the demand is 2,115 MW, with the entire system in service. Starting from the low levels of fuel inventory, the service during daytime hours will be affected. The maximum impact will be 180 MW from 9:00 a.m.

Units 6, 7 and 8 of CTE Mariel, CTE Tallapiedra unit, CTE Felton unit 2 and CTE Rente unit 3 are out of service due to faults.

Unit 5 of the CTE Nuevitas is under maintenance. The limitations in thermal generation (489 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,062 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 398 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the use of 310 MW in diesel engines is forecast.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,705 MW and a maximum demand of 2,650 MW are estimated for the peak schedule, for a 55 MW reserve, so due to the low reserve levels, service affectations could occur during this schedule.

All consumption restriction measures are implemented in the state sector.
