Yesterday, Friday, The Electric Power Company of Ciego de Ávila informs Invasor that the deficit in the availability of generation was maintained 24 hours a day, turning off the circuits outside the schedule, since the deficit had a maximum of 60 MW (megawatts), reaching in the afternoon and evening hours to rotate circuits every three hours.

The average time of affectation per circuit in the province was nine hours and 20 minutes.

The maximum demand, in the province, was in the 101 MW at 9:00 past meridian.

A deficit of 45 MW is estimated for today in the territory. If this forecast is fulfilled, it will not be possible to maintain the rotation of the circuits according to programming, since, as has been reported, each block to be turned off has an approximate capacity of 35 MW.

They add from the Electricity Company in Ciego de Ávila that the strategy, to equate the circuits in time of affectation, will be to turn off in the order of those least affected yesterday and if the deficit decreases, first restore those that accumulate the most hours of affectation.

Yesterday, Friday, the service was affected due to a 24-hour capacity deficit in the national territory. The maximum effect at night was 995 MW at 8:40 p.m., coinciding with peak hours. The service remained affected throughout the early hours of today.For today, a maximum affectation of 750 MW is estimated during daytime hours.
