Tomás Alexis Martín Venegas, Governor of the province of Ciego de Ávila, received His Excellency Mr. Eliseu Joaquín Machava, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mozambique in Cuba, who will be visiting the territory from this Tuesday until August 18.

 

During the stay in the province, tours to economic and social objectives of the territory are planned, including the tourist destination Jardines del Rey.

Other purposes of the visit are aimed at the exchange of experiences in the creation, start-up and exploitation of tourist and productive poles, their operation and expected results, as well as the effects and ecological impact of the creation of the causeways.

The tour for the province is made within the framework of bilateral relations between Mozambique and Cuba, and accompanies His Excellency Mr. Eliseu Joaquín Machava, Mrs. Concepción M. Cárdenas Herrera, Executive Secretary of the Embassy of Mozambique in Cuba.
