Yesterday, the service was affected due to a deficit in generation capacity 24 hours a day. The maximum affectation was 1,035 MW at 8:10 p.m., during peak hours the affectation was 972 MW.

The service remained affected throughout the early hours of today. The maximum impact was higher than planned due to the fact that at 7:40 p.m. the three Mariel floating plants went out of service due to a storm in the area. As of 20:02, they were incorporated back into the SEN and all generation at these plants was restored at 23:09.

A maximum affectation of 600 MW is estimated during daytime hours.Units 6 and 7 of the CTE Mariel, unit of the CTE Otto Parellada, unit 4 of the CTE Nuevitas, units 1 and 2 of the CTE Felton and unit 6 of the CTE Rente are out of service due to breakdowns.

Unit 3 of the CTE Rente is undergoing maintenance. Limitations on thermal generation (445 MW) are maintained.

In distributed generation, 1,131 MW are unavailable due to breakdown and 465 MW are undergoing maintenance.

For peak hours, the use of 150 MW in diesel engines is forecast.

With this forecast, an availability of 2,280 MW and a maximum demand of 3,100 MW are estimated for peak hours, for a deficit of 820 MW, so if the forecast conditions are maintained, an affectation of 890 MW is forecast at the peak.
