    This Sunday, exceptionally and by agreement of the political and governmental authorities of the territory, a dynamic test took place in Ciego de Ávila to evaluate the proper development of the systems that will guarantee the holding of the referendum on the Family Code, to be held next September 25, as well as the existing conditions in the nearly 900 polling stations that will open their doors that day throughout the geography of Ciego de Ávila.

    Marleny Báez Valdivia, vice president of the Provincial Electoral Council (CEP), explained to Invasor that the initiative fulfilled its purpose, since it allowed verifying the assurance of communication and transportation plans, essential for the development of the process, as well as the presence of the electoral authorities in each of the established structures such as colleges, counting groups and Municipal Electoral Councils.

    Likewise, during the day, the political and administrative godparents came to the constituencies, who evaluated, in those places designed to exercise the vote, the material needs that must be attended to and resolved in the days prior to the referendum and that, according to Báez Valdivia, were basically related to lighting problems, the improvement of conditions for working with documentation and the need for paint.

    After this first exercise, which allows time to get everything ready, next Sunday the 18th, when the dynamic test is scheduled to take place at the national level, the vice president of the CEP specifies, the province will be in better conditions to be able to attend the electoral exercise , so that date will also be "an act of training to adjust all the pertinent details that are established in the primer, a document that regulates all the steps to be carried out on voting day."

    In order to ensure the quality of the referendum, the support of the workers of ETECSA, Youth Club, Transport, Comerce and Gastronomy Units, as well as the mass organizations in the neighborhood, who have joined the preparation process during these days, will also be important.
